Tool to use the permits of your CYPE license on the BIMserver.center platform

 

To use the permits of your “local physical key” or your “electronic key" on the BIMserver.center platform, simply copy those permits to your BIMserver.center account using the "Save my license in BIMserver.center" tool.

 

Where is the “Save my license in BIMserver.center” tool?

 

There are two options to access the tool:

• In the general CYPE program menu, by installing the complete package.
• By downloading and installing the “Available licenses” application, which will prevent you from having to install the complete package if you are only going to use the purchased permits in your BIMserver.center account.

 

Instructions to download the “Available licenses” application

 

1. Download the “Available licenses” application from one of the following links:
   
   Available licenses (64 bits)
   
   Available licenses (32 bits)
   
   You can download the 64-bit or 32-bit version. The 64-bit version will only work with 64-bit operating systems. The 32-bit version can work with 64-bit and 32-bit operating systems. If you are unsure about which version to install (32 or 64 bits), please visit the following webpage for more information: "Which version should you download?”.



2. Decompress the downloaded file in any folder of your hard drive.



3. Open the folder of the language of your choice.



4. Double click on “Install license key introduction.exe”.



5. A short installation process will begin, and the application will ask you to choose between two options:
   
   
   1. Use Electronic License
      Select this option to connect to the programs using your “electronic license” and then select the other option (Save my license in BIMserver.center).
   
   
   2. Save my license in BIMserver.center
      This option will save the permits of the “physical or local key” that is connected to the USB port of your computer in BIMserver.center, or the permits of your “electronic key” if you have used it as mentioned in the previous option (Use Electronic License).
